You can, however, disinfect the mask by spraying sanitizer on both the inner and outer side of it. If you still wish to wash it, we suggest heat up water till boiling point and wash it with that. You can add any disinfectant (like Dettol) to the water if you want. DO NOT USE detergent as it can cause irritation to the skin and may result in blocking the pores of the mask.

Really good mask! I had to buy these the moment I saw PM Modi use them. I purchased a set around the 28’th of August, and I don’t know if you have updated the design of the mask since then, but I have a design suggestion for you – based on my use of the mask, I have felt that after 4 hours of continuous use, the elastic loops make my ears hurt a little, so I have to remove the mask for a few seconds – have you explored the idea of designing the elastic loops to go around the back of the head instead of the ears? Maybe that will make the mask feel more comfortable. Also, I felt the mask was pushing hard up against my mouth, making it a little hard while talking – have you considered leaving a little more room in the mask to make it comfortable on the mouth?

We do not recommend washing it. If need be you can use hot water and a disinfectant like Dettol to clean it. Also, you may simply spray sanitizer on both sides of the mask and let it rest for a few hours before wearing it.
